No, there is no kitchen or microwave available. However, there is a refrigerator for shared use.
Of course, you’re here to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings. So it’s worth asking yourself whether a mobile phone really fits into that experience. But if you really can’t do without it: there is a shared space with power outlets where you can charge your phone.
Yes, you can. We have bikes available at the campsite for hire. Reservations are not possible. If you want to make sure a bike is available or hire more bikes, please contact Marcel at www.ndsmbikes.nl. If you hire for more than two days, he will deliver and pick up the bikes on location.
The rental price is €18 per bike for the first two days, then €11 per day.
To visit the city centre and return, you can take an Uber to the centre of Amsterdam. This costs between €15 and €20 and takes about 15 minutes.
The nearest bus stop is at Beemsterstraat (there is also a supermarket at this location). From there, bus 37 departs every 10 minutes between 6:00 AM and midnight towards Station Noord. From Noord, you can take the metro to the city centre. The total travel time by bus and metro is approximately 15 minutes.
Options to get from the campsite to Beemsterstraat:
By bike (if rented), about 10 minutes. Cycling to the centre takes around 25 minutes.
On foot, about 25 minutes. A beautiful walk through the fields.
For those mainly using public transport (instead of Uber or bike), it is advisable to purchase a multi-day public transport card. There are two types: one for Amsterdam (excluding trains) and one for Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. If you mainly stay in the city, the first option is sufficient (also for travel to Beemsterstraat).
Attention: Caravans (including drawbar) and motorhomes longer than 6 meters are not allowed.
